Tags for use in gnome-software
These tags will be shown in the search results and installed applications lists, and are meant to inform the user about important qualities (or lack thereof) of the applications. We may also want to allow filtering search results by tags (similar to how we do this in Documents).
- 3rd party: installed from a repository that is different from the OS vendor's
- webapp: a webapp that runs in the web browser
- nonfree: license not among the approved free licenses
We want to avoid situations where the majority of apps carry a tag, so the tags should call out the exceptional case.
