List of GTFS feeds tested with OpenTripPlanner
The feed info URL, if used, will point to a separate feed_info.txt download. This file is also included in the actual ZIP files. Using the separate download enables just downloading that to check for updates and not re-download the entire feed unnessesarily.

Disk requirements: Total size of data under /var/otp/graphs (downloaded feed ZIPs and generated graphs) using the above feeds 2.7 GB.
Startup time for the server using the feeds listed above (on a quad core i7 3.6 GHz desktop machine): about 4 mins
Total size of generated graph objects on disk in OTP (/var/otp/graphs/*/Graph.obj): around 2 GB Total RAM used when running with above feeds: around 8 GB
An unsientific estimation: memory usage is roughly 4x the graph size on disk. Taking the Swedish feed as an example, this takes 287 MB on disk, which would equate to around 1.1 GB in-memory. Assuming a "Sweden-like" density/compexity of the public transit system, this would equate to approximatly 110 MB / 1 million inhabitants.
