Gingerblue

Gingerblue is Free Software in development for musicians who want to compose, record and share original music to the Internet from the GNOME Desktop.

The latest release is GNOME Gingerblue 6.2.0 and supports immediate audio recording in Ogg Vorbis [.ogg] files into the Music/ folder, and generation of XSPF 1.0 playlist of the recorded file in GNOME.xspf into the Music/ folder as well as Metainfo editing in [.gingerblue] XML files into the Music/ folder from a GTK+/GNOME Wizard with support for attaching Ogg Vorbis [.ogg] files in the Evolution email client.

Work on GNOME Gingerblue began July 4th, 2018.

Version 0.2.0 was released on July 28th, 2020.

Version 0.5.0 was released on June 28th, 2021.

Version 0.6.0 was released on July 12th, 2021.

Version 1.0.0 was released on July 14th, 2021.

Version 1.7.0 was released on September 17th, 2021.

Version 1.8.0 was released on September 30th, 2021.

Version 2.0.0 was released on October 16th, 2021.

Version 2.0.1 was released on October 25th, 2021.

Version 4.0.1 was released on May 1, 2022.

Version 6.0.1 was released on May 28, 2022.

Version 6.2.0 was released on July 7, 2022.
