Overview

At the time of this writing, Evolution has amassed nearly 5,000 bug reports and enhancement requests. While these Bugzilla tickets are already partitioned into a handful of coarse-grained components such as Mailer, Calendar, etc; it is useful when dealing with such a large quantity of bugs to further categorize them into topics of interest. We tag Bugzilla tickets with one or more topics by adding evolution[topic] to the Status Whiteboard field. Examples of topics include evolution[composer], evolution[passwords] and evolution[smtp]. With these whiteboard tags it is easy to generate Saved Searches in your Bugzilla account for topics of interest to you.

The purpose of this page is to catalog the Evolution topics actively in use in Bugzilla. Feel free to suggest new topics, or notify us of missed bugs that should be tagged with one or more of these topics.

We also mark bugs with Bugzilla Keywords where applicable. These are topics that are not Evolution-specific, but are common to many GNOME applications. Examples of keywords include memory, printing and usability.
