• You should get Evince from your distribution. If you cannot find it there or you are looking for the latest version, you might be able to get it here.

  • RPMs

    • Fedora has included Evince as the default PDF and PS viewer.

    • Mandriva has Evince in the standard GNOME desktop release

  • DEBs

    • Debian has Evince in stable. Just apt-get install evince.

    • Ubuntu has evince in main and in the default install. Evince packages in the Ubuntu repositories

  • Ebuilds

    • Gentoo has an official ebuild. Just emerge evince

  • Pacman

    • Arch Linux has Evince in extra. Just pacman -Sy evince.

  • Flatpak

    • Flathub has a Flatpak version of Evince available.
