The "stable" channel provide the latest GNOME Calendar release. Use it for production environments. The latest stable version (as of September 2023) is 45.0, or any other recent stable release tagged here. We always provide the latest stable version on Flathub. |
The "nightly" channel provides the bleeding edge, development versions of GNOME Calendar for easier testing. It builds and packages the latest code in quasi realtime (it typically only takes minutes before the latest code commits become available as an update). It can potentially be unstable! But we try not to break it (some of us use it!) |

Want to build the code yourself?
If you would like to contribute code or do more advanced testing, you should use the Builder IDE to check out and build everything for you. It will also make writing, debugging, profiling easier.
