Getting Evince From git

The most straightforward way to develop Evince is using GNOME Builder. Follow the instructions to clone a project in Builder, and use git@gitlab.gnome.org:GNOME/evince.git or https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evince.git as the repository URL.

Builder is going to take care of obtaining the dependencies, and building Evince in a sandbox.
