Bugzilla User Guidelines

A design space for creating more prominent and effective guidelines for using Bugzilla.

This will probably need to be moved somewhere else if it goes anywhere.

Goals

  • Prompt people to provide high quality bug reports and comments.
  • Provide a clear framework for how Bugzilla works.
  • Ensure that Bugzilla users have realistic expectations.
  • Promote good behaviour and prevent bad behaviour.
  • Be quick to read and easy to remember.

Non-goals

  • Not a guide for triagers, maintainers or administrators.
