I'm a developer at an employee benefits administration firm. I write J2EE and Groovy/Grails code. On a daily basis, I work with MySQL, JBoss Application Server, Hibernate, EJB3, JSF, JBoss Seam, Facelets, and JBoss RichFaces.
Off the clock I do web development with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and jQuery. A couple of odd quirks about me are that I enjoy JavaScript and writing documentation (no relationship other than both are hated by most programmers). I am a proponent of RESTful application architecture, and unobtrusive JavaScript and CSS. My current projects are a JavaScript Ajax framework and a 2D Java game engine. My preferred platform is Max OS X, but I have used Linux extensively on my own and currently at work. In the near future I would like to learn Scheme, Haskell, and Python.
