Accessibility-related events at GUADEC?
- Some people asked about this at misc time on the previous meeting.
- Although most people were ok with having "something", one full week/5 days doesnt' seem too practical.
- At the last guadec we had a accessibility session.
- Piñeiro's opinion: It would be a good idea to have some days for this.
- Piñeiro mentioned that this year the global idea of the guadec is having some initial "core" days, and using the last days for meetings, bofhs, etc.
- Piñeiro's opinion: We need to confirm this guadec schedule, if so he thinks that the easier thing to do would be add a session/bofh to occur during the final days of GUADEC, as the rest of the teams.
- Joanie would like to know who all is planning on attending GUADEC, because what we plan on may depend on whom we expect.
- Of those present:
- Piñeiro plans to go and thinks Mario will likely attend as well.
- Joanie plans to go.
- Javi plans to go too.
- Joseph will consider going to GUADEC if he can find funding, and if he thinks it's worthwhile.
- Brian is also considering going to GUADEC.
- ACTIONS: Piñeiro:
- will research for the schedule, to check if it make senses to have a session during GUADEC, or we need to organize something pre-post GUADEC
- along with joanie will ask other a11y team people about their plans for GUADEC
Testing Distro and associated wiki documentation
The testing distro keeps getting pointed to by some, e.g.http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-accessibility-list/2012-February/msg00017.html
- Joanie thinks that if we are really done with this tool, we should consider finding a way to discourage people pointing to it as a viable option for new projects. Options include slapping a really clear "OVER and DONE" on the page and simply removing the page.
- ACTION: jhernandez will add a big red warning on top of the wiki page informing that this project is finished.
- Brian mentioned that he was still pointing to it because to date its the only distro which runs the aegis tinderbox.
Marketing and Fundraising
- Juanjo could not attend today's meeting, but emailed to report that on the FoG campaign we have nearly US $1k more that week before
Reminder: Q4's are Due
- Q4s are still due. But we all have a repreive for a week (because no one but bugsquad turned theirs in)
- Joanie will write the summary by the 24th
- ACTION: team members should write their notes for inclusion

Miscellaneous time
- Regarding the inverse video, and brightness-contrast effects for clutter:
- Neil Roberts, Ebassi, and Joseph have been optimizing the code.
- Neil thinks it's nearly ready to be committed.
- The bad news: Neil thinks the inverse video shader does not belong in clutter.
- He suggests moving back to Gnome Shell itself.
- But no firm decision has been made yet.
- Using the effects in GNOME Shell are still problematic in that they don't work quite right.
- They worked back in the clutter 1.8 timeframe.
- Joseph is trying to figure out if it's a clutter issue, or a gnome shell issue, or both.
- AEGIS has asked that Joseph write documentation about how to use the zoom options dialog. He will be adding a wiki page as a child of the Magnifier Page that gives this information. He might possibly use this as a start for user help.
