- When: Thursday, October 28th, 7:00 UTC
- Where: irc.gnome.org, #a11y
Meeting Log
Topics Discussed
Unity
- We added this on the agenda but Luke were not available (he was on the UDS)
- Summary:
- Default desktop for the next Ubuntu release
- No accessibility at this moment
- Luke Yelavich will work on accessibility as his main task with Unity developers
- He still need to check the code
- They plan to move from mutter to compiz, but some work has already done, so it is not start from scratch
- Penelope has volunteered to be the liason between gnome accessibility and ubuntu accessibility communities
Live gnome org organization
- As Unity is not a direct GNOME 3.0 issue, we should track it
- Alejandro Piñeiro proposed add a section on the gnome 3 page
- Joanmarie Diggs thinks that those would be a mess, so propose a new page
- She also propose to sort out the current gnome 3, putting the priorities on top
- General agreement
Bastien mail about new way to load gtk modules
- Michael Gorse was not here,
- Just to comment that all the previous hacks used on firefox (and probably on gnome-shell) will still work
- Not sure if those bugs reported by Bastien are in the proper bugzilla
- Need to ask Michael Gorse
- Brian Nitz asks is this is a change required on all components: No
Roadmap
- Joanmarie and Alejandro Piñeiro still requires to create a draft and upload it on the wiki
- Work in progress
Misc
- Alejandro Leiva wants to add Boston Summit on the next meeting
- Brian Nitz haven't created the wiki page for the testing feedback, he asked a home on the gnome testing page
