Piñeiro is planning to create a new page on the wiki to track a11y issues which are not 3.0-specific.

Piñeiro asked Mike if he would have time to review the bug; Mike agreed.
Mike also plans to figure out at the Boston Summit how to move the AT-SPI bugzilla to bugzilla.gnome.org. Piñeiro suggested the solution might be to ask for another product on b.g.o or alternatively just another component be added to the current AT-SPI.

Penelope reported that:
- The Compiz port should be done in the next two weeks.
- The general desktop team will be implementing keyboard navigation.
- Luke will focus on the accessibility framework along with an additional person.
- She will be coordinating all the testing, documentation, etc. so that Luke can focus on development.

Joanie reported that Ale Leiva will be tackling this for Orca after the Profiles work has been merged into master and the gconf backend completed.
Mike indiciated he would try to look into this issue for 2.31.2 and asked if we also want to port at-spi-corba. He thinks we might as gconf is being used to enable it currently and some users might wish to have access to it.
Fer questioned if porting at-spi-corba was worth the effort. Mike responded that it depends on how much work is involved, adding that there are only one or two gconf keys used by at-spi.
Conclusion: Given the number of questions, further investigation is needed.

Mike, Joanie, Ale, and Heidi (along with some of her students) will attend. 'mchua' and 'sdziallas' will be there to help serve as guides for Heidi's students.
Joanie added that Ale's primary reason for adding the Summit as an agenda item was just to see if there's things that we (who will be in attendance) should do or say (e.g. on behalf of the rest of the team who is not).
Og asked if there's anything the Board can do to help out with a11y. Joanie proposed a meeting between those of us in attendance with those from the Board in attendance might be of use.
Joanie and Ale will also be meeting with the gnome-shell team about "integrating" Orca with/into gnome-shell.

Fer would like to have a plan for GNOME 3 a11y testing, adding that most of us are not running a whole GNOME 3 desktop.
Brian Nitz responded that the AEGIS project he is working on is intended for that.
Ale asked when we could start using Brian's project/product and whether or not it is GNOME 3.0 compliant.
Brian stated that it's difficult to test in an integrated desktop when that desktop isn't complete. And, in response to Ale, that currently it only tests basic items like menus and labels.
Ale emphasized the need for Brian's project to be released so that we can all start to use it and work together to further its growth. Fer agreed.
Brian answered that he has to release it "in such away that my employer and the mago people are happy with. But it will be released."

Steve reported that Project:Possibility will be doing 3 SS12s (weekend hackathons for students) next year : CSUN, USC & UCLA
He is looking for project ideas.
