  • Interactive tutorial (probably merged into "First Run Experience")
  • Overlay help
  • Consistent spatial model (with semantic animations)
  • Tiling
  • Better integration of apps with legacy decorations
  • App menu replacement
  • DnD support for folders (creating, updating, removing)

Shared Agreements

We all agree to abide by these principles for the hackfest.

  1. Bring your full, honest self
  2. This is a safe space
  3. Assume good intentions from each other
  4. Be open, listen actively
  5. Speak your mind & heart

Attendees

While we would love to accommodate as many people as possible, design generally works better in small groups and our venue has limited space. It's recommended that you contact one of the hackfest organizers if you'd like to attend.

Accommodation

London has lots of hotel options, although it can sometimes be tricky finding cheap/good ones. The following are suggestion:

  • Travelodge Liverpool Street - twin rooms available for £110 per night (you need to check the box for a wheelchair accessible room to get a twin bed)

  • hub Tower Bridge - rooms for around £125 per night

  • Point A Hotel Shoreditch - have rooms from around £120 a night, including twins (also have locations at Kings Cross and Liverpool Street)
